I'll start straight with the tutorial: 1. Download the (translation) patch for your game, either HG or SS. Patch it either with localized or katakana patch. Play as long as you wish with NO freeze, crash or black screen! ====>>Alternatively, you can also patch the game with Rudolph's newest patch, which is based on the same anti-piracy-patch-engine like the upper translation patch. So, in case you do not want to have a patched and translated ROM, you can also use his patch to prevent Freeze, Crash and Black Screen problems with your game, since they share the same patch-engine. Rudolph's Patch: CAUTION: If you are using a M3 DS Real or a M3i Zero, then read below at UPDATE 2!
Using Cheats in DeSmuMe. From DeSmuME. Jump to: navigation. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky (U). What we'll try to do is freeze. May 01, 2013 HeartGold/SoulSilver freezes on DeSmuME 0.98. DeSmuMe can play Heart Gold and Soul Silver. The action replay code for Clean ROM's only for Either Pokemon.
*****UPDATE 2***** If you are using a M3 DS Real or a M3i Zero, then go to their homepage and download their newest firmware v4.4a X E52!! It fixes all problems with your HGSS ROM!! Download page: Thanks goes out to Raqib12, Rykin and of course Rudolph & me!
Play normally. Open up Task Manager. The emulator will use around 180MB at first, then slowly climb past 200MB. Once it hit around 199MB, save game, reset. Only got one crash this way and that was at the beginning of a trainer battle. With 64bit version of the emulator, before the game crashes, all the textures will become corrupted. But as long as you don't enter/exit areas or go into battles, you can still walk around.
Sg3525 Ir2110 Smps Rar Files here. During that state, you can still save you game. After saving, the game will crash, just reset reload and pick up where you left off. The game has a well documented anti piracy check. It checks memory below 8000 which is accessible on flashcarts but not on the original game(you see a bunch of read below 0x8000 errors in the debug). When enough events have happened(around 24, decreasing with the more badges you get) you will get a crash.
As far as I was told by squall the emulator seems to handle these memory checks like a real DS, which makes it possible that emulator antipiracy checks are also present. To date the game will not work on flashcarts that have not updated a fix for antipiracy. In that same manner, it often crashes on DeSmuME. The developers should particularly look into the ROM's behaveior and see what other abnormalities it is trying to perform, and get those exceptions to be handled like on a real DS.
I already tested it, and I got mixed results. HeartGold let me pass through doors 200 times with no freezes, 0 badges. SoulSilver on the other hand, gets that sprite mess after around 60 events then it locks up. On HG I don't have a pokemon yet following me but on SS I do. Again flashcarts DO NOT cause the sprite corruption, they simply blackscreen. This is leading me to believe that: 1. There is a specific emulator AP that obviously no flashcart patches(they don't need to), and that crashes the emulator.
There is a compatibility problem with the ROM that causes the emulator to undergo corruption. The second is looking more and more likely since AP looks like it's been defeated.
